Meet our Virtuous Lady Bennett

Lady Mavis A. Bennett

Lady Mavis A. Bennett is a virtuous woman who exemplifies Godly character and great humility. Lady
Bennett was baptized in Jesus Name in 1965. Before joining Greater Bethlehem Temple Pentecostal Church, she
was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church in Boston, MA. Prior to fully devoting her time to the ministry,
Lady Bennett worked at the New England Telephone company in Lynn for many years. Lady Bennett’s favorite
hymn is: “Then My Living Will Not Be In Vain.” Based on this principle, she works closely and effortlessly
with her husband, to continuously develop the ministry that God has placed in their charge. She serves diligently
throughout the entire ministry.

Lady Bennett is the President of the Christian Women’s Auxiliary and Overseer for the Usher and
Greeter team, in addition to counseling and teaching adolescents’ girls how to carry and present themselves as
ladies. She has recently be added to the Executive Board of the church. She’s truly gifted and artistic and always
willing to impart her knowledge to anyone willing to listen. As a result of her kind spirit and standard of living,
these groups strive for excellence under her guidance and leadership. "Sister B." as she affectionately known
around the church, has an exceptional way of caring and showing love to each and everyone she meets. She’s a
woman of God and a devoted wife. She met her husband, Bishop Dr. Anthony P. Bennett in 1970; a year later, in
1971 there were married. Many years later, they’re still happily married!

"Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all."
